PBB champ’s two dream leading ladies

Randy Dellosa, resident psychiatrist on the ABS-CBN reality show “Pinoy Big Brother,” expressed doubts if Teen champ Ejay Falcon could cope with the pressures of show business.

“He’s overwhelmed by the attention,” Dellosa told Inquirer Entertainment in a phone interview on Sunday. “Ejay and the other teen housemates should realize that their fame wasn’t borne out of hard work, but was just a result of their exposure on a reality show.” Dellosa noted that he’s uncertain whether Falcon has the skills for acting.

In contrast, Laurenti Dyogi, PBB director and Business Unit head, expressed confidence in Falcon. “If he’s serious and works hard, he can make it in show biz.”

Falcon, for his part, said he is open to joining the biz.

In a phone interview last Sunday, Falcon said he dreams of having singer Sarah Geronimo and his PBB “crush” Valerie Weignmann as his leading ladies.

Falcon conceded that opportunities like PBB come once-in-a-lifetime.

“When I auditioned for the show, I was so nervous. I never imagined I’d get in and win,” he admitted. “It’s great to be idolized by young people.”

He said that he hopes to set a “good example” to today’s youth.

“Young people shouldn’t lose hope. Look at my life,” he said.

Falcon dropped out of college after his mom lost her job. On the show, he confessed that he knew that his real father isn’t Tatay Erning who had raised him.

(Tatay Erning was also declared the Guardian Big Winner.)

Now, Falcon has P1 million and a condo unit to his name.

“I’m very happy,” Falcon asserted. “Now, I can send my sister to school and help my mom with expenses at home.”
